Hag Island is an island midway between Port Skaug to the north and Port Nyanzaru to the south. It was formerly protected by a magic wind which dissipated following the eponymous Hag's defeat by The Fishwives.
The history of the island was shrouded in mystery. There were no records of it until fairly recently, despite its central location on the sea trade routes. The hag was clearly not its first inhabitant - several ancient ruins from different cultures were discovered by the Fishwives in their explorations.
Geography
The island is mostly covered in dense tropical rainforest, which provide habitat for large wild pigs. Volcanic mountains rise above the forest, inhabited by gnolls, harpies, and at least one cyclops.
