Entering the caverns, our heroes traversed a series of narrow tunnels before finding themselves in a cavernous room. On the opposite wall was a large cleft; arcane symbols covered the walls around the cleft, and two piles of skulls and severed heads flanked it. In this room, they met [[Gash]], a pale humanoid who was covered in scars, tattoos, and grime. Gash spoke [[Undercommon]], which [[Cheeky]] was able to translate. The next chamber was notably cleaner than the previous rooms. The walls no longer showed profane graffiti and the smell of rotting flesh was gone. A gold disc was embedded in the wall above a granite basin; a single fresh flower lay nearby. There were also five bronze doors in the southern end of the chamber. These were covered in ancient dwarven runes which were indecipherable.
