[[Ilabrar Nightbreeze]] (from [[Elven]] <i>il-</i> 'mist' and <i>-abrar</i> 'crafter'), born '''Ilabrar Naïlo''', was a [[half-elf]] [[druid]]. He gained notoriety as a crewmember of the brig-sloop ''[[The Satisfied Fishwife]]''.

== Early Life==
Ilabrar Nightbreeze was born in the forests northeast of the harbor town of [[Port Skaug]] to an elf mother, Silaqui Naïlo. His human father, Blath Lackman, left before he was born. Due to the elves' attitudes with regard to racial purity, Ilabrar and his mother were relegated to living on the outskirts of their village. The elves tolerated their presence because of Silaqui's elven heritage, but did nothing to support Ilabrar or Silaqui.

Throughout Ilabrar's childhood, Silaqui obsessed over Blath Lackman's abandonment of his son. Silaqui became so depressed that she entered a near catatonic state and eventually died when Ilabrar was twelve. In a lucid moment before she died, Silaqui presented Ilabrar with her [[blue pearl ring]].

After his mother's death, Ilabrar was exiled from his elf village and began wandering the coastal forests where he was found, weak and malnourished, by the druid [[Frazil Masika]]. Masika nursed Ilabrar back to health at her home in the forest.
