Vanwamarta: Difference between revisions

[[Vanwamarta]] (from [[Elven]], lit. 'the sorrowful place') was a townhome in the garment district of [[Port Skaug]]. Originally built by [[Berrian Amakiir]] for his family, it was later granted to High Captain [[Ka-Ess]] and the crew of ''[[The Satisfied Fishwife]]'' by [[Marquis de Rothshyr]] in recognition of their service on [[Hag Island]].

Amakiir had made some sort of pact with a [[shadar-kai]], [[Ashok]], which resulted in the souls of his lost family being imprisoned in the [[crystal orb]]. In revenge, Amakiir trapped Ashok in the basement of the house at the cost of his own life, where Ashok remained until he was defeated by the Fishwives.
