The Ghostwise Society

The Ghostwise Society was a militant order of Halfling liberationists who saw violence as the only practical means of establishing a Halfling state. The Society arose in the wake of the August Hierarchy's conquest of the Halfling territories in Orlan, a cataclysmic event in Halfling history which caused many Halflings to abandon the agrarian pacifism traditional to their society.

The Hag Island Settlement

After the Fishwives slew the Hag of Hag Island, they coordinated with the Marquis de Rothshyr and the Ghostwise Society to establish a Halfling colony on the island. Tensions immediately arose between the halflings and the native Grung, leading some Halfling traditionalists to fear that they were inflicting upon the Grung what they had suffered at the hands of the Minotaurs.
