Battle of Carmos Narrows

The Battle of Carmos Narrows was a sea battle fought between the forces of Freeman Mongrelborn and the Confederated Slaver Guilds. Mongrelborn's ragtag fleets, which had taken brutal losses against the better-outfitted and funded fleets of the Slaver Guilds, retreated to Carmos Narrows, which allowed them no escape, offering the Slavers an irresistible target. Unbeknownst to the Slaver Generals, Mongrelborn's underground slave network had orchestrated a secret signal for the slave-crews of the Guild's mightiest galleons. As all seemed lost, Mongrelborn lit his own ship ablaze with a mighty fireball, signaling the crews to simultaneously mutiny. In the chaos, Mongrelborn captured the slaver capital-ship Bloodied Manacle, and the demoralized slave fleed soon capitulated. The Manacle was rechristened The Emancipator and served as Mongrelborn's flagship during his tenure as a High Captain.
