The contest comprised six events: epic poetry recitation, dwarf-punching, orb-location, log-wrestling, endurance coconut-swimming and armed boar-racing.

The first Sharkless Bay Games were inaugurated in 219 V.II by the Fishwives in order to distribute the diminutive Hell Plate they ransacked from Avernus and choose commanders for The Glittering Legion of Ka-Ess. The initial victors were:
