Gargauth (pronounced: GAR-gawth), sometimes called Astaroth, was a exiled archdevil and demigod of betrayal and political corruption. Gargauth embodied the inevitable moral decay that followed both the victories won by evil means, and the selfish, greedy, and ambitious entities (both leaders and groups) that achieved them. | [[File:384f070588013bcad7e7cf97aaa2fa43.png|thumb|right|The sigil of Gargauth]] | ||
