Fa'ama'i

Fa'ama'i was a legendary enemy of the druids. It was an infection that affected the mycorrhizal networks connecting trees and fungi, causing them to absorb water and nutrients selfishly from their neighbors. Huge tracts of forest were destroyed as the pestilence spread, weakening the powers of the druids.
