The party arrived at Bregan’s war camp. They were introduced to the War Council and vice versa. A truly bizarre crystalline being, Vorlith the Warden, was present but remarkably unremarked upon. The vibes were unusually good. Sartaq had sent a war party of werewolves (known in the Steppe as a Baar Mitz’vaa) to aid Bregan, as a golden stag had appeared to him in a dream and told him that the black fortress must fall before the red moon (in 3 days). Aylin, the werewolf chief, wants to fuck Ilabrar though he does not know this. The Fishwife is intact and the crew has joined in the siege, though all seem unable to talk about how they arrived. Bregan had sent another party of heroes to a sea cave to infiltrate the fortress, but they had not returned. The party attempts the same route, accompanied by a hornt up Aylin.. On the way to the sea cave, they encounter the corpse of one of the Seven Star-Knights of King Thrymr, a mightly storm giant warrior. Using his powers of deduction, Ardrick determines that the knight was killed by a powerful psychic blast.
