Male-gathering

Male-gathering is a traditional lizardfolk children's game in which young male lizardkin conceal themselves in the swamps, often for days, pursued by female, soldier-caste lizardkin as ritualistic training for future mate selection. While seeking males, the females engage with each other in non-lethal guerilla combat and attempt to capture each other's males. She who acquires the most males wins.
